Vintage Carved Wood Chapati Board or Mould
Hand carved from wood, the chapati moulds in India are used in the household to roll out chapatti dough. Chapati is a traditional Indian flatbread, which is rolled out on these boards before baking. These boards have been bleached to give a lighter and more contemporary finish. Cracks and fissures may occur, as they have been used for many years.
Perfect for use as a trivet or candle-stand.
Each piece is unique in tone and carvings, but they are all wonderful. (The photos are examples only, we will select patterns at random.)
