Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe (please keep in mind that all ceramics can crack from sudden temperature changes. So do not take a dish directly from the fridge/freezer into a hot oven or vice versa).

Sthål was founded by Swedish creatives Susanna Theander and Helena Åkesson-Liedberg, who share a love of great food, good friends and finding beautiful things... a little outside the ordinary. With backgrounds in illustration, styling, design and cookbook creation, they left their careers as graphic designers in 2010 to follow a shared dream. Two years later, their first ceramic collection, Arabesque, was born.
Designed in Sweden and made in Portugal, the Arabesque collection is created with the belief that the table deserves just as much care and attention as the food served on it. Each piece of stoneware features Sthål’s beautiful signature relief pattern and a wonderfully tactile reactive glaze.
During firing, the glaze develops naturally as colours flow and deepen, crystals form and surfaces gently crackle. These variations are all part of the charm, giving every piece its own unique character – no two will ever be exactly alike.
The gorgeous colourways are designed to be mixed and matched, making it easy to create a relaxed and individual table setting. Perfect for everyday meals but special enough for entertaining, these are timeless pieces to collect, use and enjoy for years to come.
